Middle School ELA Teacher I purchased about 1500 pencils a couple of years ago for my classroom. It has been money well spent. I never have to worry about a student not having a pencil in class. The erasers on the pencils also work well. They do not leave red smudges over the paper like other pencils I've purchased that were 25 cents each! The kids also like the interesting designs and finding the glitches in the pencil. It's also a wonderful example of utlizing materials that may have otherwise been tossed in the trash.
