Remember that if it is windy at ground level it is worse at the top of the flagpole. Heavy rain will increase the weight of the flag, which will cause unnecessary wear, especially in high winds. These poles are designed to have a concrete base into the ground, so the poles can withstand harsher weather, but to prolong the lifespan of your flag, we advise you to take them down in harsh weather conditions.
